課程概述 |

教材Textbooks: 實用視聽華語四
1. 本課程為「中級二」程度，本學期上課範圍為《新版實用視聽華語 (4) 》(第三版）
第一課到第七課。
This course uses the textbook “Practical Audio-Visual Chinese 4” (L1~L7) to help students develop proficient language skills in listening, speaking, reading and writing that would enable them to communicate effectively in their daily lives. Through the course, students will further understand Taiwanese culture and language.
2. 本課程授課語言以中文為主，英文為輔。
The class will be mainly given in Chinese.

課程目標 |
1. 習得處理日常生活事務的基本表達能力，能不倚靠自己的母語與他人溝通。
2. 學習日常生活中常用話題之詞彙，能更深入地與華人討論各項議題。
3. 學生能讀、寫正體字，且聽、說兩項能達到各課標準。
4. 能藉由課本內之主題，了解華人習慣與社會文化。 |

課程要求 |
1. 除了沒辦法到台灣，或是隔離中的同學以外，請到教室上課。
Only the students who cannot come to Taiwan or during self-quarantine can take online courses.
2. 如果是實體課程，到教室上課，請全程戴口罩上課，並與同學保持社交距離。另外，因為防疫的關係，上課時可以喝水，但不能吃東西與喝飲料。
Please wear a mask all the time at school and keep social distance. No food and drinks in the classroom (it’s ok to have some water when needed).
3. 如果有感冒症狀，建議去看醫生，並且在家休息。
If you have fever, cough, COVID-19 symptoms, please do not come to school and please go to see a doctor as soon as possible. If you cannot come to school due to this, ask the teacher for online course link and take online courses on that day/those days.
4. 請勿遲到、早退。如果缺席超過3分之一，成績會不及格。
Be punctual. Don’t leave class earlier than scheduled time. Students will be failed if they miss more than one third of total class in this semester.
5. 如果需要請假，請兩天前告知講師。（病假例外）病假或事假請給證明，包括在缺席內，但是不扣分
If students need to take a day off, please tell the instructor two days before. Except for sick leave.。Medical or official excuses need to be provided for taking a day off, it will be included you’re absent.
6. 上課時學生不說英文或其他語言。
Only Chinese exclusively in class.
7. 上課時學生不該做其他事情，如寫功課、聊天、睡覺等與課程無關的事。需參與課堂活動，聽老師及同學的發言和討論。
Actively participate and be cooperative.
Students should not write homework or do other things that are not related to the course, such as chatting with classmates or sleeping during class hour. It’s essential to participate in the classroom activity and class discussion.
8. 上課時，除了課程安排以外，不能使用手機、電腦等電子產品做跟課程無關的事。使用一次就扣平時表現成績1分。
Cell phone, laptop, Ipad, electronic dictionary and any electronic devices are only allowed for learning in class, otherwise students will lose 1 point for each time.
9. 準時繳交作業，遲交該份作業成績扣10分，且應在一周內補交，超過規定時間零分計算。
All assignments must be handed in on time. 10 points will be deducted for late homework. Assignments not received within one week past the due date will receive a grade of ZERO.
10. 除非有特別要求，否則所有的功課和考試都必須寫中國字。
All assignments and exams must be written in Chinese characters unless specifically requested.
11. 老師所有的上課資料都會放在NTU COOL上，如果需要印出來，請自己上網列印。
All of handouts are on NTU COOL. Please print them out by yourself if it’s necessary.
12. 尊重老師及同學。如果上課中發生同學之間，或師生之間的爭執，或是上課時學生離題的情況，教師將視情況隨時打斷學生發言，以維護課程順利進行。
Be respectful of each other in classroom. Topics discussed in class should be related to the course. If students argue with classmates or the teacher in class, which is effect on the class going on smoothly, the teacher will end the topic anytime. Or, if students talk too much to stray into the topic isn't related to the course, the teacher also will interrupt them anytime.
13. 請共同建立平等尊重的環境，禁止歧視言行。請避免任何與宗教、國籍、種族、性別、性傾向等相關的歧視言行。如果上課中有歧視言行發生，教師將視情況打斷學生發言，或是請學生離開教室。
For a respective environment for all, NO speeches/acts of discriminations. Please avoid any speeches/acts containing discriminations regarding nationality, cultures, genders, sexualities etc. If students have speeches/acts containing discriminations regarding nationality, cultures, genders, sexualities etc. in class, the teacher also will interrupt them or ask them to leave the classroom anytime.
14. 違反以上規定皆會影響學期成績。違反一次規定就扣平時表現成績一分。
Students will have one point deducted from scores of Attendance and Performance each time for violation of class regulations. |

1. 遲到或早退20分鐘都以缺席1小時計。
2. 一個學期有6小時沒來上課，老師不會扣分。從第7個小時開始，1個小時扣0.15分。
3. 如果需要請假，請先寫信跟老師說，病假例外。請假3個小時扣0.5分。
1)Late for class more than 20 minutes or leave class 20 minutes earlier than scheduled time will be regarded as one-hour absence.2)Students won’t lose any point if they are absent within 3 hours. However, students will lose 0.2 points per hour from the 4th hour.
3)If students need to take a day off (medical or official excuses ), please tell the instructor in advance. Except for sick leave. Students will lose 0.5 point every 3 hours. |

1.這個部分的成績跟你上課的時候是不是聽老師說話、做老師給的活動、還有是不是常常不來上課有關係。
The students are graded according to the performance in class. Answering questions in Chinese, joining the discussion and practicing in class will help you to get high scores. However, this score would be deducted if the students were absent too many times, or absent without informing the teacher in advance.
2.違反課程要求及課程規定者，一次扣一分。 Students will lose one point if they violate the regulations. |

作業 Homework |
15% |
1.包含寫語法和短文的作業。
2.準時交作業。遲交扣10分，超過一週以上不收，以0分計算。
3.作業請寫在Ａ4活頁紙上。
4.每份作業都計分。要是遲交超過一週、抄襲、缺交或少寫超過一個部分，則該項作業零分。
1) This includes writing grammar practice and narrations.
2) All assignments must be handed in on time. 10 points will be deducted for late homework. Assignments not received within one week past the due date will receive a grade of ZERO. Submit your work ahead of time if you may miss the class of those days.
3) Please write the homework on the A4 loose-leaf papers (and only A4 papers are accepted)
4) You will receive grades for each complete homework. Incomplete homework (miss more than I item), late homework over 2 weeks or copy of classmates' homework will receive No Grades (for both people) |

1.聽寫考試。聽寫內容是老師指定的詞彙和語法。老師大概念6個句子，每個句子只念3次。
2. 每課有單元考試，包括聽力測驗與口語測驗。
1)This is the average of every diction and tests of each lesson. There would be diction or test EVERY TIME. |

期中考 Mid-term Exam |

1.期中考成績，包括筆試及口試。Midterm Exam includes paper test and oral test.
2.期中考僅病假者能延後考試，但須附上醫生證明。若因個人因素需要提早考試，成績將以九成計算，滿分最高只有90分。
The mid-term exams can only be postponed due to health issues, a doctor's certificate must be attached. If you need to take the exam earlier due to personal factors, the exam score will be calculated at 90%, with a maximum score of only 90 points. |

期末考 Final Exam |

1.期末考成績，包括筆試及期末報告。Final Exam includes paper test and final presentation.
2.期末考僅病假者能延後考試，但須附上醫生證明。若因個人因素需要提早考期末考，期末考成績將以九成計算，滿分最高只有90分。
The final exams can only be postponed due to health issues, a doctor's certificate must be attached. If you need to take the final exam earlier due to personal factors, the final exam score will be calculated at 90%, with a maximum score of only 90 points. |
